On the 26th and 27th the scouts had a weekend in the log cabin…where we did orienteering and played man hunt around the mountains

On the 21st,22nd and 23rd the patrol leaders have a weekend in the log cabin…were we will talk about our years plans and about annual camp etc..

Hello everyone,
Thanks to all who turned up last friday for the raffle. We would like to
thank the parents for there help, unfortunetly all the money we raised will
have to go to the replacement of 20 windows that were smashed lately in the
log cabin.

We wish to remind the venturers that they have an outing this Friday to ‘Cosmic Bowl’ which is leaving the den at 5.30.

We wish to congratulate our scouts on winning the Slieve Bloom county orienteering competition which was held outside Blueball, Tullamore, Co. Offaly recently.

As most of you know we will be going up for the night to the Slieve Blooms on the Saturday 7th. We will be leaving from the carpark at 10.30am as usual. During the weekend we’ll run a photography competition, We will give each patrol a camera and they will have to take pictures of anything in the following three categories: Mountain Landscape, Trees and Birds. We will try and put the winning pictures up on the site as soon as possible so be sure to check back soon. We’ll be returning to the Marian Hall at around 4.30 on Sunday.
